Well the Whitney is moving, to the MeatPacking District. But before it does it’s having a Jeff Koons Retrospective. I have to admit two things: 1. I’ve never been to the Whitney in it’s current location and 2. I think for most of my life I’ve been a Jeff Koons hater. I have recently re-evaluated my feelings on the artist and am no longer a hater….mostly. I’ve generally started to see art in an appreciative fashion regardless of my personal aesthetic opinions.
